Is it possible to place implants (premolar) after a Lefort I surgery?
implants and advancing upper jaw.
Jun 22, 2019
Placing implants after a Laforte procedure should be fine as a Laforte moves the entire jaw forward as one piece. You need to make sure that there is enough bone in the area where the implant is being placed. Have you checked out other options for advancing your upper jaw other than LaForte(surgery)? Try to find a dentist that is trained in controlled arch orthodontics where they use appliances (ie. AGGA- anterior guided growth appliances). This may allow you to avoid a rather invasive …
I have oval and flat face. Does upper premolar extraction will ruin my look?
create space without removing teeth
Jun 9, 2019
It is really hard to tell with the limited photos but there is rarely ever a case that premolar extraction should be advised. More space can be achieved(predictably) with appliances so that teeth extractions are not necessary.
Food is getting trapped between my dental crown and the next tooth, is this normal?

See if the situation improves as often it does take a few weeks for things to feel normal. If the problem continues then suggest to your dentist to have the crown replaced with a new one.

It sounds like your periodontist is doing the right thing at this time. He/She will be able to get a little more information as to why you are having discomfort still. If the bone graft is causing the problem then it can be removed at the same visit.
Should I ask to get my crowns adjusted/remade for not matching my teeth?
making front crowns look natural
May 12, 2019
There are many excellent materials that allow for a perfect matching of natural teeth. From what I can see from the photos you should be able to get a better cosmetic result. Speak to your dentist and ask about Zirconium with porcelain for implant crowns,

veneers for a perfect smile
May 5, 2019
It appears that you are missing your laterals(2nd teeth from the front). Your canines seem to be in that position instead and the tooth behind it looks like it may be your baby canine. In any event please check with our dentist to ensure than any extractions are truly necessary. Once a tooth is removed it is a lot harder to place back and a lot more expensive(implants). There are many incredible results that can be achieved with veneers but often ortho is much better for you in the long r…
Does a smile makeover mostly consist of crowns?
crowns and veneers
Apr 22, 2019
Veneers and crowns can both be used to help improve your smile. Veneers are less invasive and allow for more tooth structure to be preserved compared to crowns. It sounds like you are concerned with your gummy smile which means that you may need other treatment in addition to crowns or veneers in order to reduce the amount of gum you show when smiling. This could involve surgery or orthodontics.
