There is a great variation in how soon a patient is able return to physical activity after abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). I would agree with your surgeon that six weeks is the very earliest that I would consider allowing a patient to return to vigorous physical activity, such as running. You should be aware, however, that it may take longer than 6 weeks to be safe and comfortable before returning. In addition, I always recommend that return to activity should be gradual and stepwise. At 8 weeks it is too early to tell if you've fully dropped. It often takes at least 4 months to achieve the final shape and size. It is difficult to be patient and wait during this time. Be sure and visit your plastic surgeon if you have ongoing concerns. Best of luck!

70 percent of Juvederm syringe, day after, very worried about swelling

Swelling after Juvederm injection of lips

Swelling of the lips after injection with a hyaluronic acid agent like Juvederm is expected and extremely common. In my experience, the swelling is most pronounced for the first 48 hours after the injections, however may last several more days. Application of cold compresses or intermittent ice may be helpful. If you have any concerns, please return to your plastic surgeon for evaluation. Best of luck!

The photograph appears to show bruising of the lower pole of the breast, however I would recommend that you go in to see your plastic surgeon as soon as possible. This may be an indication of a hematoma, but an exam is strongly recommended. Best of luck.

It is difficult to tell from your photograph because of the position of your arms, but I believe that it is likely that you will require a lift as well as an augmentation. If your nipples are at or well below your inframammary fold, you likely will need a lift.
