Can a nasal cast be removed as early as four days after surgery?

In my practice the nasal cast stays on for 7 days after rhinoplasty, the removal of which usually coincides with intranasal splint and skin suture removal, if present. However this timing varies greatly among surgeons and the removal of a nasal cast 4 days after surgery isn’t necessarily early or ‘wrong’.
