I recommend my patients sleep on their backs the first night after surgery. After that, they are able to sleep on their sides. I recommend waiting 6 weeks before sleeping on the belly side. This helps to keep the implants from displacing or moving during the initial healing period. After 6 weeks, the implant pockets have healed and physical activities and sleeping positions won’t affect the implants
