Thank you for your question. Typically there isn't much difference in the various brands of implants. They are all great devices. The most recent trend in silicone implants is to increase the fill volume of the implant. This is supposed to cause less rippling and help maintain upper pole fullness.  5cc difference is equal to a teaspoon. Sientra currently has the best warranty of any implant. Hope this helps.Dr. Rast

Thank you for your question. Ideally breast implants should be sized based on your breast tissue.  There are 2 choices of saline implants that are available for augmentation purposes. The standard saline implants are the most economical but, rippling is always a concern. The best option for saline implants is the Ideal implant. Thank you for your question.Typically if your nipple is below the breast crease then a lift is needed. There isn't a perfect position to place the implant. Implants that are place above the muscle tend to have a higher capsular contracture rate and possibly more rippling. While implants that are placed beneath the muscle can have animation deformity when flexing the pectoralis muscle. Thank you for your question. Based on you pictures you would not be a good candidate for a mini abdominoplasty. There is too much laxity in the skin below your belly button. With a mini tummy tuck you would still have residual stretch marks in the area below your belly button. In my opinion your best option would be to have a full tummy tuck.

Thank you for your question.  Both locations have there benefits.   Typically submuscular implants have a lower risk of capsular contracture and provide more upper pole coverage.   The downside of submuscular implants can be an animation deformity.   This results in movement of the implant with flex ion of the pectoralis muscle.   Subglandular implants avoid the animation deformity.  However, they have a higher rate of capsular contracture. With a mastopexy the size of the implant may be ...

Thank you for your question. Animation deformities are  an issue with submuscular implants. Correcting an animation deformity usually requires moving the implant to a subglandular position or resuturing the lower half of the muscle. Regarding your second question a Benelli lift alone will not solve your give you the upper pole fullness you desire.  If you have lax skin it will not hold the weight of the implant. In my opinion you would need an internal bra procedure with the lift. Best of luck.

Congratulations on the weight loss. You appear to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck. However, it might not be possible to remove all of the vertical scar on your abdomen.  Typically the skin from the belly button to just below the pubic hair line can be removed with a tummy tuck. In patients that have significant skin laxity due to weight loss the amount of skin removed can increase. Best of luck.

I'm sorry that you are having pain and are unhappy with your results. I think you should be very cautious in getting larger implants. I think you would benefit from a capsulorraphy (Internal Bra ). Thank you for your question. Based on your pictures you would benefit from a capsulorraphy(internal bra procedure) and possible implant style change. In my opinion the best choice would be to perform a capsulorraphy and shorten the vertical incision. Changing implant profiles to a ultra high profile would decrease the width of your breast while keeping your projection.   Other options would be to combine the capsulorraphy with a ADM such as Alloderm. Thank you for your question. There are several options to try and improve the scar on your right breast. Steroid injections may help flatten the scar. Also,it is possible to revise the scar as an office procedure. I would discuss your problem with your surgeon.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you would be a candidate for a mommy makeover. Typically this involves a tummy tuck, liposuction and breast surgery. Fat grafting to the buttocks or bbl can also be performed. It is best if you get an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question. From the pictures that you have provided it does appear that you have a mild form of tuberous breast deformity.
