Should I try implants for a third time or get a bridge?
Implants for a third time
Feb 4, 2020
Hi and thank you for the question. At 25 five, I will certainly tell you to try implants again, because I know that it would be most aesthetic and functional way to go. I don’t know if you had any  bone grafting procedures done prior to placement of the implants or whether the architecture of the bone was sufficient to place the implants to begin with. Typically after a trauma were there is loss of dentition, you will loose bone at a rapid phase because there is nothing stimulating that bone…
I don’t want denture would prefer permanent solution. Cost of full set of implants?
Cost of Full set of Implants
Feb 7, 2018
Hi and Thank you for your question. The best solution for your particular case, for you to understand the cost of the different alternatives is to come for a consultation. In this consultation you will be seen by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Prosthodontist team. A full 3D Image (CBCT) will be taken to determine the amount of bone, density of bone and best location for implants for your particular situation. We deal with very difficult cases and get the results everyone is looking …
Jaw bone absorption – How much time is needed?
Jaw Bone Resorption
Jan 24, 2018
Hi and thank you for your question. It is very difficult to see the degree of difficulty of your case without the proper x-rays. I just completed 2 very difficult cases for All on Four in which I had to do very big sinus grafting. It took a bit longer but the patients got there implants this past 2 weeks one and the other today. There are other alternatives like Straumann Custom block were you can increase the vertical height of bone and the width as well.Good Luck in your search for someone…
Are full mouth restorations for me?
full mouth restoration
Jan 23, 2018
Hi and Thank you for your question. In most cases that require a lot of dental work, the expense and time to get you to your Dream Smile is very overwhelming. An All on Four Hybrid restoration is best because it corrects years of neglect , it is cost effective and could be done in one day. The procedure is done in at atmosphere of relaxation while you are sedated. You come in, and in a few hours you leave your old smile behind, your new “Dream Smile” changes your life completely. It give yo…
How long after the bone graft would someone have to wait to get the dental implants?
Timing of bone grafts and Implants
Nov 11, 2017
Hi and Thank you for your question. Typically in my office since I use biologics (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors) derived from the patient owns blood the process of healing is much faster and better. The minimal time for a bone graft to heal is 3 months, obviously depending on the case. If the bone graft is into the Sinus cavity this will take approximately from 4 to 6 months of healing. If on the other hand the bone graft is a block of bone harvested from the patient it self or custom cut to…

Insulin dependent and Dental implants
Oct 29, 2017
Hi and thank you for your question. The answer to your question is, yes. Although the risk of failing implants could be higher, if your diabetes is well controlled you should be able to have success with dental implants. In my practice, I use Plasma Rich in Growth Factors that will enhance the healing of your implants in the initial phases of healing, therefore improving your outcome. It is very important that you take your disease very seriously to keep it under control at all times. Good…

Dentures with receding gums
Oct 29, 2017
Hi and thank you for your question. The answer to your question is yes. The initial steps for you to take is to visit an experienced Oral Surgeon and Prosthodontist for evaluation and medical history. Get a 3D image (CBCT) to evaluate the extent of bone loss, volume and density. In many cases there is a possibility of reconstructing the areas of teeth and bone loss with implants. Depending on what you want to do your, Oral Surgeon and Prosthodontist should be able to give you a treatment…
