The testing you need both laboratory and otherwise before a procedure is determined largely by your age and your underlying medical conditions. For example, a healthy person under the age of 50 with no major medical problems may not need any testing. Also, women of child bearing age require testing to prove that they're not pregnant. Thank you for your question. It is impossible to know for certain without an in person examination, but it does look like you have deeper sutures that are being "spit out". Typically, the deeper layers of the breast and skin are closed with sutures that dissolve over time. Your body has a natural inflammatory response to the presence of these sutures. Thank you for your question. In the last picture it looks like your left lower lip is going upwards. It also look like the lines in your left upper lip are deeper. Personally, I wouldn't inject more Botox at this point. I might consider filler for the upper lip lines so that they don't appear so deep. Discuss your concerns with your injector. Good luck!

Is ripping/burning type of pain normal when sneezing after liposuction?

Thank you for your question. I wouldn't say that "ripping/burning" sensation is the way most patients describe their discomfort following liposuction. However, I don't find it totally unusual that you may describe it that way especially when your abdomen is being tensed while sneezing. This should get significantly better in the next week or two. Thank you for your question. From what I can see in your pictures I do not think that your left side will settle to the extent that you'll be happy with it. It appears that you have an excess of skin and fat in that area. As others have mentioned you still have some settling and healing to do and things may still change. Thank you for your question. It's truly impossible to answer your question without examining you. Did the bump just appear recently or has it been there for a while? It sounds like the CT scan has ruled out a significant seroma. When I hear "burning sensation" I consider that a nerve may be causing those symptoms. Thank you for your question. I think it is unlikely that your botox migrated with you getting sick 10 days after you were injected. If you have concerns the best thing to do is to contact you injector and be seen for an in person evaluation. Good luck.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are doing and having most of the possible treatments to improve the appearance of your scars. I have found lasers like Fraxel, Picosure and VBeam to be very helpful in improving the appearance of scars. The best thing to do is to see someone that has all of these lasers available.
