When properly placed, veneers can last for decades!
On rare occasion due to trauma or while eating, a veneer may pop off. Don't panic! In most cases if the veneer is not damaged, your dentist can disinfect your tooth and re-bond it.
The sooner you can get in to your dentist the better, as teeth have a tendency to move.
I would avoid eating on this tooth and put the veneer in a safe place.
