What else helps besides cold after Juvederm around the mouth?
Avoid Juvederm swelling
Nov 26, 2011
Nov 26, 2011
A certain amount of Juvederm swelling is inevitable, but I find that gentle icing of the skin immediately prior to, and during injecting helps prevent bruising and swelling. Also, avoid hot baths, saunas, hot tubs and exercise for at least 24 hours. Keeping your head elevated at night.helps too, and Vitamin K cream applied to bruises can be of benefit.
How Can I Repair my Face After a Botched Laser Treatment?
Help for poor laser outcome
Nov 26, 2011
Nov 26, 2011
There are quite a few treatments that will help repair problems caused by laser mishaps. Which treatment is best for you will depend on the type of laser and the type of damage. For example hyperpigmentation ( skin darkening) can be helped by prescription bleaching creams and chemical peels, Options for improving scars include creams, cortisone injections, and pulsed dye laser. Your dermatologist can set up a treatment regimen tailored to your needs.
My Lashes are Starting to Break Off, Can You Overuse Latisse?
Latisse and lash damage
Oct 28, 2011
Oct 28, 2011
I am unaware of Latisse having any adverse effect on the eyelash hairs. Breakage is more likely due to eye make-up (especially mascara) and make-up removers. However you can over apply Latisse, which wastes this pricey product, and can rarely lead to pigmentation and fine hair growth below the lower lash line.
Can I Use Obagi Blue Peel on my Back?
Blue Peel safe for back
Oct 28, 2011
Oct 28, 2011
The Obagi Blue Peel can be safely performed on the back as well as the chest and arms to help pigmentation problems. Fewer peel layers are applied to the back because of increased scarring risk. While the peel area needs to pretreated with products such as Obagi Clear (hydrquinone), too much irritation should be avoided as this can lead to poor peel results.
