With extensive gum loss, does an upper All-on-8 temp and/or perm prosthesis have to sit partially on t
Partial Coverage of the Palate
Jan 9, 2016
It depends on the treatment option that you accept. The hybrid denture sits on the ridge, where as the implants acting as support for the temporary bridge sits partially on the ridge and implant abutment. So to answer your question, these form of treatments will not cover the palate, but an overdenture will. An overdenture is like a regular denture with support from a remaining tooth or abutment implant. This type of prosthesis will always cover the palate. I am really not sure…
Can I get the All-on-4 implants only on top?
All on 4 ontop
Jan 9, 2016
There are options for all on 4 treatment on the lower as well. It would be in your best interest to visit the doctor of your choosing and have all questions concerning this procedure address. The doctor that you feel most comfortable with should be the one that does your surgery.
Is it possible to have all on 4 implants on both jaws after jaw surgery?
Bimaxillary Healing
Oct 12, 2015
I think that the surgeon should be able to recommend a time frame for you to start all on 4 implants. Please understand that there are a few of factors that will influence your healing process. If your health is poor to average, will all come into play. How involved was the surgery? Can your body handle treatment so close to another surgery. These are just some of the questions that may have to be addressed, prior to starting all on 4 treatment. However, the surgeon and the dentist…
I am interested in having my full upper teeth done with implants.
Full Upper Implants
Oct 12, 2015
Yes, it is possible to do only the upper. However, treating both jaws are always the better option. There is no comparison between implants and removeable dentures. Implant supported crowns or dentures are always the best option that a dentist can offer. If you can afford to do both upper and lower arches at the same time, then do them. There can be restriction with patient’s finances or health, but if these are not a factor, then treating both arches at the same time should not be a problem…
Can I get a new smile for 5k ? It’s mainly my 4 front teeth at the top ?
Smile for 5K
Oct 12, 2015
Yes, you can. It may involve you having the dentist to prioritize a treatment planfor you that fits your budget, but it is possible to remain in that price range. The first step is getting an appointment and having the dentist perform a new patientComprehensive exam with x-rays. This will help him in achieving the ideal plan for you and your budget. Then he can prioritize the treatment plan keeping in mind your number one concern andif at all possible placing it as priority 1.
Can I Close a 5mm Gap Between my Front Teeth? In How Much Time?
Close Gap
Aug 21, 2015
I think you have done your research. Using invisalign to close the space is the right choice. However, I would caution you not to leave the frenulum attachment between #8 and #9, because the space will reoccur, after invisalign is complete. My suggestion is to remove this attachment to prevent relapse of your invisalign results. And the overjet is easily corrected with invisalign as well. This should produce some great results. Hopefully, you can post them once your treatment is…

Crooked Teeth
Aug 21, 2015
I am sorry that you had such a bad experience. It is hard to imagine the impact that this has had on your life. I think that it is very important to research and do your homework, when it comes to taking care of your health. It can never be taken lightly. The good news is you are still able to make a choice to research for a more caring health professional. If this dental work has impacted your life as much as you mention, you should not rest until you find the doctor that can do the…
