First of all we need to know why bonding was done for you. If it was done to close the gap between teeth , then definitely the removal of that bond will create a space. If you are not happy with the bonding finish or Color or shape , you can think of ceramic veneers. They can be matched well with your existing teeth in appearance, and doesnot get discoloured. Many times the impressions made can get distorted in the lab and on request from the lab we need to repeat the impressions.
As tooth prep is already done for veneers in the first appointment , So only the impressions will have to be made.

It is always better to crown the tooth if a crack is confirmed in a tooth to protect the tooth from complete fracture. Usually if the tooth is not root canal treated then there is pain to biting on little hard object. Pain vanishes instantly. Bite test with Tooth slooth by the dentist will confirm it. Better to crown the tooth soon.
