Thanks for posting your picture and questions. It is certainly early days after your surgery and I would always advise my patients that they need to wait at least 6 weeks, sometimes up to 3 months, to allow all the swelling and bruising to settle down before the final result is clear. Dear Jess,
I advise my patients to wear a comfortable, well-fitting non-wired bra for 6 weeks, as much as possible. As you are now 4 weeks, you may benefit from a further 2 weeks in such a bra. It will help to support your augmentation as the soft tissues settle down. After 6 weeks, I would advise that you could start to wear wired bras, but use the non-wired bra for comfort if you want to. I would definitely advise a sports bra for exercise and gym work in the long-term.

Hi and thanks for your question and photo. Areola reduction would certainly help, but you would have to accept that the scars around the areola and the areolae themselves might stretch out with time.

Many thanks for your question and the photos. The small area on the right labia will likely heal on its own. I would normally recommend taking regular showers and perhaps using an antibiotic ointment like Bactroban to keep the area moist. It may take a couple of weeks to settle. If it hasn’t, you may want to contact your surgeon at that time. Hope that helps!

Hi,
It would be useful to know how long ago your surgery was; the scar looks quite a recent one. Judging from your photo, the scar looks healthy at this stage. I would simply advise that you wash the wound regularly with clean water and put a simple non-adherent dressing over it to protect it while it continues to heal. Change the dressing daily and once it has sealed completely then start to massage and moisturise the scar. The itchiness may be due to a mild reaction to the tape you have…
