Best way to close gap between my two front teeth?
Mind the Gap
Sep 7, 2021
Sep 7, 2021
An ideal solution would be to slightly broaden the 2 front teeth with composite and to close the remainder with orthodontics. The tissue is an advantage is that it will fill in from the gum side.
Option 2 is to bond the front four teeth to reshape and to close the gap–it would be an artistic challenge but an experienced cosmetic dentist could accomplish this for you–be aware there are not many out there of this caliber.

Great question–the answer is maybe yes maybe no– depending on the changes made with your bonding–ask the dentist to evaluate after the treatment–
How can I fix my gummy smile, that’s hard to hide when smiling?

You have a number of options to improve your situation–A cosmetic dentist can mock up changes to the teeth and gum tissue and you can evaluate the results before you commit to any treatment to the teeth and or the gum tissue. You can also consider botox to reduce the distance that you upper lip elevates when you smile. You can also explore surgical options to the muscle attachment under your upper lip or consider jaw surgery which in your case would compromise your beautiful profile.

The best path at this point is to see a dentist and have the teeth x rayed and evaluated. There is a chance that they can be saved once the infection is under control and if not you have many options to replace or restore them–Good Luck

You ask an important question–the answer is –It depends–Matching restorations to the other teeth is something every dentist tries to accomplish. The results depends on the skill, techniques and materials of the individual dentist. Ask to see photos of the dentist’s work–look at websites and see their results. Dentistry is both science and art. But the answer is a yes if you decide on a skilled and accomplished dentist. Good luck to you
Can I whiten my other teeth to match dental crown?
crown too light

Jan 19, 2021
You have two options –match your other teeth to it or have the crown replaced with a darker shade to match the existing teeth–You may like a lighter smile overall so try in office or home bleaching first and see if the color of the crown can be a better match. I would hope that your dentist would even give you a discount on some professional whitening options. Good Luck

fine tuning your smile

Your smile looks awesome–The lateral incisors do look more forward leaning from the side views–I would recommend some slight reshaping of the enamel to improve this. Try this first with a competent cosmetic dentist –if this result is still bothersome minimal composite bonding can also be a conservative option. you would also enjoy the results from bleaching to really make your smile dazzle. Good Luck!
