This patient presented to our office with severe wear and pain in his TMJ for over a year and was affecting his quality of life. After an extensive exam and bite analysis, it was determined that we needed to do a full-mouth reconstruction and open this patients bite back to where it once was to relieve his discomfort and function properly. He was placed in full-mouth prototypes for over 6 months with instant relief and held there to maintain stability. Once we were confident that his TMJ was not bothering him anymore we then fabricated the final prosthesis using all-ceramic restorations. (Apr 30, 2015)
