How worried should I be about the wellbeing of my baby after truSculpt 3D on my flanks?
truSculpt3D
Feb 28, 2019
I’m not sure exactly what you’re implying, but if you are pregnant you should never have any procedure or injection. If you had radiofrequency energy delivered any part of the body, that could possibly affect the developing fetus. I would highly advise against having any further treatment.
I don’t know why the session was so painful? They told me to take ibuprofen and come back a
Trusculpt3D
Feb 28, 2019
Truscuplt 3D typically isn’t painful. There is some slight and gradual progressive warming of the tissue that can be uncomfortable, but it shouldn’t be hurtful and painful. Normally, each session comprises of three five-minute applications of heat and 40 to 45 J/E that cause the adipose fat cell destruction. Typically, a you will see results in 10 to 12 weeks and you may need to have 3 to 4 treatments of total treatment. Typically it’s $750 per treatment area.
Smoking medical Marijuana, could it be ruining my face?
Marijuana, could it be ruining my face?
Feb 28, 2019
Of course, anytime you smoke anything the combustion of the material releases a number of chemicals that can immediately saturate the tissue of the face and cause oxidative stress. Oxidative stress then can in turn damage DNA and tissue function. Most cigarette smokers and marijuana smokers will develop a degree of facial skin atrophy and deeper line formation because of this oxidative stress occurring in the tissue based on exposure to free radical formation. It’s advisable that…
How to get rid of bumpy skin?
Bumpy skin
Feb 28, 2019
Bumpy skin is kind of a broad term. People that have irregular skin nodules on the face may have cystic acne or other forms of cystic skin concerns. Typically, sebum is produced at the follicle and sebaceous gland level around the hair. As for other areas, sometimes removing hair with laser will help get rid of skin bumps around the bikini area.
What is the best skin lightening treatment for darkened hands
The best skin lightening treatment for darkened hands
Feb 28, 2019
In my opinion the very best way to lighten the back of the hand is to use intense pulse light, IPL, we have a Cutera Limelight handpiece that normally reduces dark spots which are solar brown spots or sun spots, (liver spots) about 80% with one treatment.
Is it possible to rejuvenate the skin on the inner part of hands?
Hands Rejuvenation
Feb 28, 2019
Yes, we can rejuvenate the hands through a variety of different ways. On the dorsum or top of the hand we can use IPL or intense pulsed light to get rid of age spots or solar lentigines related to sun exposure. We also can add Radiesse injections under the tissue itself to give more pliability and a more youthful appearance to the back of the hand. Both are quite safe and pose no risk.
What laser would work best to reduce redness and keloid formation on this scar?
Laser
Feb 28, 2019
Typically using an Indy YAG laser which we use by Q Tara named Genesis works the best for these types of scars. Hypertrophic scars and scars in general can take 18 to 24 months to completely heal. Can very easily treat scars with the laser, methylprednisolone (Kenalog) injections and in fact using a filler like Juvaderm XC sometimes for depressed or indented scars can be very effective as well.
