Thank you for your question. I know it is upsetting to look at. However, the wound healing happens sometimes. Most of the time this type of wound heals spontaneously although it may take quite a few weeks. Definitely get close follow up with your surgeon.

Thank you for your questions. As many doctors have indicated already, the firm tissue is likely residual breast tissue. While it is important to leave a small padding of breast glandular tissue directly behind the areola to avoid indentation, too much will leave to persistent fullness. Discuss with your plastic surgeon after examination.

Thank you for your questions. you do not appear to have neck laxity from the low resolution photo. I believe a mini lift will likely be effective. Ultherapy or RF may work but probably will be less effective.

Thank you for the question. you will likely still have small amount of breast tissue. The skin will shrink back somewhat after explantation. However, there is likely too you will still have some droopiness. Discuss with your surgeon for your options.

Thank you for your question. In most cases, you can tell your implant position (above or below pectoralis muscle layer) by the following:Stand in front of the mirror without your shirt or bras. Place your hands on your hips. Sqeeze in your hands towards your hips. If you see your implants moving, you most likely have your implants under the muscle layer.

Thank you for the question. In general we perform cosmetic surgery for patients for patients 18 and older. If your are still losing weight, it may be a good idea to achieve a steady weight before undergoing breast augmentation. Tuberous breasts can have different gradation. Some can be treated just with the standard breast augmentation while others need to be treated with more special technique. It is best evaluated by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine the method of surgery.

Thank you for your question. Although most people feels fairy normal after a few months, your experience is not uncommon. Also many people report the lower abdomens become more swollen after they stand for a few hours in the first year postop. This is common too because the body’s fluid (edema) does not descend pass the new incision as easily and tends to accumulate above the incision line. This will resolve with time.

In general there are three components to address during a gynecomastia surgery: excess glandular tissue, excess fat, and excess skin. Not every person will have all three components to correct. The question can be best addressed in a consultation.
