I don’t use steroid injections or PRP injections during labiaplasty, nor do I use them for healing scars. If a revision is necessary because of a tight or poorly placed scar, then a scar revision or labiaplasty revision should be performed. There are some reconstructions that can be performed using clitoral hood tissues as well. For complex reconstructions it’s best to get a second opinion if you are unhappy or having problems with the initial surgery.
