It’s normal to feel soreness and small bumps (most likely muscle tightening sutures) after an abdominoplasty. The internal and skin sutures are strong enough to withstand small strains caused by laughing coughing or sneezing particularly if you are wearing your pressure garment. 9 days post surgery is a bit too early to make a judgement call on your procedure. Give it time. You will get to know better once the swelling has come down significantly which is actually a few weeks down the line.Be patient. And no, in my experience, nasal exercises don’t work in a reduction rhinoplasty

Hi there. 3.6 litres of liposuction aspirate is a bit too less for a person of your weight to start with. With tumescent liposuction 4.5 to 5 litres of fat aspirate can be safely removed, with minimal risk . If you undergo Ultrasonic liposuction almost double the amount of fat can be removed with lesser bleeding, pain and better recovery. You are a little early on in the post op period and all these ridges and lumps will settle down over the next 6 to 8 weeks. Just wait a bit, wear your pressure garment (as important as the surgery itself) and massage after a few weeks. Good Luck.

You are the perfect candidate for Liposuction with abdominoplasty and would have benefitted from this combined procedure immensely. Liposuction alone in such a candidate is a strict no no as it gives minimal results, and high rates of patient dissatisfaction, as you have severe abdominal laxity as well as excess loose skin. In any case removal of 700 cc is way too little in your particular case. You need to follow up with your doctor.

Im sorry to know of your problem. For any infected wound it is advisable to get dressings done on a daily basis with an antibiotic/antimicrobial solution till there is minimal or NO discharge from the wound site. In case there is no evidence of infection wounds can be dressed on alternate days. Seems like you need more frequent dressings. Take care
