He finished his specialized training during a two-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

When he is not working at Ranch & Coast Plastic Surgery, Dr. Chasan regularly lectures to plastic surgery residents at the University of California, San Diego. He is also a past board member for Angel Faces, a nonprofit organization that provides education and ongoing support for girls and young women with burn and trauma injuries.

Thank you for your question. There are not many plastic surgeons who have a lot of experience with pectoral implants. I have been performing the surgery for over 20 years. There are definitely nuances with the surgery. I have never told the patient that they could not work out after having pectoral augmentation. That is erroneous advice. Best wishes to you.

Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. Thank you for your question. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast surgery and revision breast surgery. I have been in practice for over 28 years. In your case, you would benefit from an internal bra procedure - capsulorrhaphy. I wrote the very first paper on capsulorrhaphy over 20 years ago. I find that many surgeons are not skilled at this procedure and have high rate of recurrence. You should be able to have an excellent result. Best wishes to you.

In your case, the best option is to place a smaller implant and perform a internal bra procedure-otherwise known as capsulorrhaphy. I wrote the very first paper on this topic over 20 years ago and perform this surgery at least 4-5 times a week. You should be able to have an excellent outcome. Best wishes to you.

In over 28 years in practice, I have never had to relocate an implant on top of the muscle wall leaving the other one under the muscle. There are very few breasts that I have not been able to fix. Thank you for your question. You definitely need an in person exam to assess exactly the degree of laxity and where the laxity is on your abdomen. You may be a candidate for just an excision of excess lower abdominal skin which is termed a mini-abdominoplasty. Some patients benefit from Coolsculpt and do not need surgery at all.
