Since the tooth is broken in half, I would recommend a stronger restoration like a crown. There would be a high risk of breaking/chipping the tooth again if it is bonded. Depending on the vitality of the pulp, root canal therapy may be needed if the nerve is affected due to trauma. First step would be to get a xray and assess the health of the tooth.

The tooth will need to be bonded to restore it back to its original shape.
If you are not particularly concerned about the cosmetic appearance of the tooth, then you can choose to leave it alone or polish it, but you may risk chipping more of the tooth over time.

The crown/cap will need to be removed and replaced with a new crown. We have better/stronger crown materials nowadays like porcelain fused to zirconia crowns that last a long time and are much more esthetic.
