Round Moderate Vs High Profile Implants

Surgeons and patients have preferences regarding breast implants formed from experience and expertise. The choice of which profile is a personal one and needs to fit your lifestyle, life stage, objectives, and needs. My experience is that high profile is a small subset of the patients that we see and more appropriate for thinner patients where the moderate profile would appear too broad for the build.

If you are still unsure, consult in person with additional surgeons. The feedback from other surgeons might provide you more insight into which profile is appropriate for you.

Should I Get Breast Augmentation?

Since you feel you would be more comfortable with a fuller look to the breasts and since your fraame can carry off the larger look, I think you would be a very good candidate for breast augmentation.

Implant Size

This may be large however I recommend you try on a variety of sizers at your next consultation to see what works for you. You may find that 650cc may actually give you a good result.

most probably breast lift with out an implant with give you the fullness and the lift that you want, unless you want to be very big.

Current silicone implants all cost the same

All sizes of silicone implants, that are availble at this time, cost the same. Saline are about $1000.00 less for a pair of implants. On the horizon, form stable gel implants will cost more than the currently availble gel implants.
Once again all sizes cost the same.

Possible, but would not make a significant difference

The implant manufacturers do not recommend putting in more than 10% over the maximum volume listed. So, if your doctor put in 300cc implants and filled them to 300ccs, it would be possible to put at least 30ccs more in — but that would not make an appreciable difference.

I usually find that you need at least 100 to 150ccs more to make an appreciable difference. If you put a lot more than suggested, you tend to get rounder, misshapen implants and you may void the warantee.

Double Bubble After Breast Augmentation

The “double bubble” deformity isn’t something you, as a patient, can prevent. Life, genetics and gravity work against the female breasts to continue to age them. After augmentation these factors continue to age the breasts.
The result can be a sagging of the breast. The breast implant will remain in its surgically created position due to the capsule that forms around it. Anatomically it really can’t move. So the breast descends.

This, well, is unfortunate because the implant remains in the correct position and the breast falls below it creating the famous “double bubble.” The only way to correct this is to lift the breast back on to the implant via a mastopexy or breast lift.

So don’t fret. If it happens, it happens and it will need to be corrected. But you may have good genes and your breasts will continue to look great for years.

Breast lift?

I think you would be most satisfied with both a breast lift and augmentation. You should also wait until you have reached your weight loss goals prior to undergoing this procedure. To set a surgical plan for yourself, be seen in person by a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Implant too big

Listen to your inner voice. It sounds like you have legitimate concerns. Does your plastic surgeon use Vectra, or any other 3D imaging system which is an invaluable visual tool, helping you see what implants look like on your own chest wall.

What can I do to fill them out?

Though an implant style and size can be chosen to help you achieve your desired look, it would be important to also have a breast lift performed. You have enough sagging present that implants alone would leave you with a double bubble deformity.

The lift would elevate your natural breast tissue higher onto your chest, will remove excess breast skin, and will place your nipple into a more youthful elevated position.

Breast Implant Sizing

his is a very patient specific issue. Each person has different goals in mind for cosmetic surgery, especially breast augmentation. In general, we try to guide patients in their decision and keep them from choosing an implant that is too large which may cause problems down the road.
An implant of 304 cc is likely not too large but it ultimately depends on your base diameter and goals. I sizing system is definitely helpful in making this decision.

Discuss this with your surgeon and try to look at before and after photos of women with similar dimensions.

Breast Aug without lift

You are definitely not going to need a lift. Your breasts are deflated and not drooping. Breast implants alone should do the trick for you.

Massage following Breast Implant surgery

I typically will have all of my breast augmentation patients scheduled for a lymphatic massage at 7 days post-operative in my comprehensive Medical Spa. Our certified massage therapist will teach the patient techniques that I would like them to continue to do in order to help reduce swelling and maintain a nice soft capsule which naturally forms around the implant.

Dr. Cohen Is An Opinion Leader In Aesthetic Surgery

Post-surgical lymphatic massage will also help the patient maintain, and in some cases improve, awareness of their breasts allowing for subtle changes in tissue and/or capsule to be observed by your PS in a more timely fashion.

It is important to make sure you discuss massaging with your Boards Certified Plastic Surgeon as he/she may have a different recommendation during the recovery period. A good communication pathway between patient and provider is of the utmost importance when deciding to move forward with surgery.

Sizing and method for 21 year old female, 5’2″, 112lbs? First breast augmentation and in need of guidance!

breast and body size, and the use of a high profile 450cc implants, you may want to reconsider placement of this implant on top of the muscles. Implants of this size in patients starting with relatively small breasts have a higher risk of rippling in a subglandular pocket and also looking like “big balls” on your chest that you’re concerned about.
I recommend consultations with a couple more plastic surgeons in your area for a few more opinions to achieve your goals. you photos and question.

You will need breast lift with vertical scar

You have too much sagging to have circunaerola breast lift . Your breasts arre touching the chest wall and nipple lift will not give a good result. The common mistake is to try to avoid bigger scar and endding up with the breast falling off the implant and worse look than you started.

Please get multiple consultations and when you go for consultation, Let your doctors offer their recommendation before you tell them what kind of incision you want.
