The face is the most vascularized region of the body, that means that infection is rare. It could occur when the tissues are traumatised or crushed by brutal injections leaving extensive bruising specially with General anaesthesia!
More the treatment is micro-anatomical less trauma and less bruising and better the result, you get specially after radio-frequency damages which burnt the subcutaneous tissues and left deep scars.

The longevity of the fat graft is dependant mainly on the vascularity of the recipient bed! In other words, the best tissue for fat transfer if it is not injected in a rich vascular area, will die in few weeks!
