Porcelain veneers – 6 mos. post-op & still temperature sensitive?
Temperature sensitivity

It may be a bonding or bite issue go back to the dr that placed them and see what he thinks
Should I Get a New Composite Filling or Veneer?
It Depends?
Mar 6, 2013
Either on may be the right choice. First, have your dentist determine if you grind or clench your teeth. If you are a grinder or clencher, the veneer can come off just as easy.
Broken Root Canal File?
Broken File
Mar 6, 2013
It is very difficult to remove a broken file, especially in this location. Many people in this situation choose to have the tooth extracted and an implant placed based on a cost/benefit analysis. The retreatment success rate with a chronic infection is very low. Based on your x-ray, it should not be a problem placing an implant in that area. Andrew Rudnick, DMD, FICOI
Is It Possible to Get Veneers on Only the 2 Front Teeth?
Everyone is Right
Feb 20, 2013
I would recommend orthodontics and then veneers. Otherwise you will be miserable. It would be difficult to get the results you want and the tooth proportions would be off.
Contemplating Dental Implants. Dentist Says All Done in One Day? Really?
It can be done
Feb 20, 2013
Yes, It can be done, but the situation must be right. You need good bone volume and density, otherwise they may fail. Make sure to get a cbct scan to determine if you are candidate.
What to Do with Receeding Gums? I’ve Had Receeding Gums for a Long Time Due to Bruxism and Bad T
What to do..
Feb 20, 2013
It appears from the photo that you have some occlusal/bite issues. When on clenches and grinds, the gum tend to receed. Even with bonding, which has been suggested, the problem will continue and the bondings will most likely fall off. My recommendation is to get your bite under control first and then address the gum issue.
Will I Benefit from Gum Contouring?
Gum Lift
Feb 20, 2013
Cosmetic gum recountouring may improve your smile, it just depends on how much of a “gum lift” you want. It may be necessary to have crown lengthening along with the gum lift otherwise, the gum will grow back down.
