The photo shows that your distal septum is deviated to the
right, making the nostril smaller and decreasing your airway/flow. Correction
of the distal septum will correct that problem. And, yes, insurance may cover
it. But, a complete exam is necessary to evaluate the rest of the septum
(cartilage and bone). Also, the anesthetic evaluation will determine what else
will be necessary to give you the best overall functional and aesthetic

The upper lip appears relatively long . . . distance between
the columella and Cupid's bow of the lip. This can be shortened with an ellipse
of skin at the base of the nose just below the nostrils. The scar heals well .
. . but these will be a fine line scar. It has to be worth the trade-off to
gain the aesthetic result that you want. It will often positively improve your
Cupid's bow! Good luck!

From this photo alone, I can speak to the
rhinoplasty/septoplasty which will lower the dorsum conservatively, as well as
giving the nasal tip better/finer contour/size. By reshaping the nose, the
overall shape and symmetry of the face will be improved. Also, checkout your
chin position in relations to the base of your nose . . . if the chin is more
recessed, then a chin augmentation with an anatomic implant (done through an
intractable incision) will put the face in better symmetry. ...

Your ideal procedure is a full/extended “tummy tuck” which
includes tightening the rectus muscle/fascia from the xiphoid/breast bone to
the pubic area. This is called repair of the diastasis recti muscle. This
effectively improves your “core” which in turn will help connect low back
discomfort secondary to the laxity. Also, the oblique muscles/fascia can be

Ideally, one procedure would treat the neck (submental
platysmaplasty) through a small 2-cm incision beneath the chin crease and
treat the entire face through the pre and postauricular incisions. Secondly,
the neck can be done through the submental (2-cm) incision with lipo of the
neck and jowl region. Small incisions behind each earlobe will be used for lipo
from this direction. These procedures will sculpt the neck, jowls and jawline.

Your best result would be an abdominoplasty with tightening
of your rectus muscles (midline) and the oblique fascia (lateral). This will
give you the contour and tightening that your “core” needs. It will also
decrease the “sway” in your lower back. Liposculpture of your flanks and
back-braline will sculpt your torso. This will be an ideal course of action for

I agree that a larger implant might increase the “snoopy” dog
appearance . . . but doing a mastopexy with the secondary augmentation will
correct the “snoopy” look by raising the nipple complex to the apex of the
mound. Check with your plastic surgeon.

What rhinoplasty procedure is best for bulbous, flat, Asian nose with wide nostrils?

Not an easy solution, but I would do a tip plasty to give you
more definition by sculpting the cartilages and add a cartilage graft to the
tip for projection. Reducing the width of the nostrils will also give a thinner
appearing nose. The incision is hidden in the alar crease. Third, if the nose
needs more definition on the dorsum, then I would use crushed cartilage in the

You are an excellent candidate for an abdominoplasty with
tightening of the rectus abdominus muscle (midline) and oblique muscle/fascia
(lateral). Also, liposuction of your flanks and back will give you a great
result. By tightening the anterior and oblique muscles, you will also
help/”cure” your lower back discomfort and improve your “sway” back! Good luck!

Your diagnosis is bilateral mammary hypertrophy with multiple
symptoms: Pain, back, neck, shoulders, headache – chronic, rash –
inframammary. Anthem BC/BS should definitely cover the reduction mammoplasty
CPT 19318-50, and should cover the hospital and anesthesia expenses. You need
to find a board-certified plastic surgeon who will accept the insurance

You are asking a lot without doing a mastopexy . . . which would be ideal! The plan would be as follows:

Remove implant (325 cc HP).
Revise capsule with capsulectomy or capsulorrhaphy . . . to decrease the lateral position of the implant.
New prosthesis . . . size to be determined as to size you want (within reason).
Internal mastopexy – tack the posterior breast tissue to the anterior pectoralis muscle . . . this will stabilize the breast mound higher without the external i...

The hortizontal creases lines are “normal.” You seeing
relatively small amount of lipodystrophy (fat) in the lower abdomen.
Continue working out, especially with your abdominals. If the lower fullness
from your umbilicus to the pubic area does not improve, then limited
liposculpture can be done with one small incision in the suprapubic area. Good

You are an excellent candidate for a tip plasty to reduce the
fullness of your tip. This will remove excess fibrofatty tissue and sculpt the
lower lateral cartilages to give you less bulbous appearance and better tip projection. Secondly, your nostrils are wide, especially
when you smile. This can be corrected with incisions below the nostrils and
alar rim. The combination of these procedures will give you the
sculpted/elegant tip contour. Good luck!
