Thank you for your question. Yes, you will be able to resume your intense abdominal workout. I always tell my patients 4-6 weeks after surgery they can resume but they have to start slow. Thank you for your question. It is safe to remove up to 5L of fat at one sitting. It is extremely important to make sure you are rehydrating yourself post surgery. Your Surgeon will keep an IV running to help hydrate and along with you drinking fluids and being up and moving around you should be ok. You could do fat grafting to that area, but you have to make sure you go to an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience with fat injections in that area. Fat can be too thick in that area if not done correctly. I tend to like using Restylane in that area to help rebuild the collagen. I find it is a nice smooth product that helps with the hollowing.
