The ammount of pain associated with implant exchange is usually less than a primary procedure. However theircare variables; textured implants can be more difficult to remove. If the implant unexpectedly found to be ruptured additional steps maybe required. If the new implant is significantly larger capsulotomy maybevrequired to enlarge the pocket.
For all these reasons general anaesthetic is the norm.

It is very difficult to comment without examining your ears in detail. In general they look well corrected with, at worst, minor asymmetry at the top.
I would not recommend to ear fold device in your case. They tend to overcorrect the antehelix and have a risk of extrusion. In cases where revision is indicated the stitching method gives more possibility of subtle alteration.

Interesting question. It very much depends on the forces to which the sutures will be subjected. For example when a rib is bent to make the outer curve of an ear mist surgeons will use fine titanium or steel wires.
However, in general terms, the forces exerted on the sutures and grafts in nasal reconstruction are generally lower. For that reason many surgeons will choose.slowly dissolving sutures such as a fine PDS. These have the advantage of a lower, long term infection and extrusion rate...

Ear reduction is a very elegant operation which can successfully reduce your ear size to any chosen dimmension within reason.
It is commonly performed by ear specialists. It involves removing crescent of cartilage from the upper ear and a segment of him lower down.
It is not a 'wedge' resection. I definately woukd not recommend that. It is a variation on a technique used in reconstruction commonly referred to as an 'Antia Buch' procedure.

After removing the ear stretcher the hole may shrink down a little in time. The longer you wore the oversized stretcher the less the likelihood of shrink.
We often resort to surgery to sort the issue Frequently found people find employment prospects by stretched ear lobules. The army and the police for example take a dim view.

Stretching of ear piercings is very common. It can be attributed to heavy ear rings, nickel allergy and repetitive pulling. We all see massively enlarged ear piercings caused by stretchers
It is easily repaired surgically under local anaesthetic as an outpatient procedure. you van re pierce after a few months.
Problems secondary to piercing through the cartilage of the ear can be much more difficult to repair and sometimes require rib graft reconstruction.
