The reason that people recommend having a BMI under 30 is that significantly over this measurement means that there is an increased risk of wound healing problems, losing the implant, infection, blood clots, etc. Basically, in the realm of elective cosmetic procedures, it isn’t worth the added risk and therefore it is best to make an attempt at weight reduction first.
