I’m sorry that you have to deal with this problem – it’s an unfortunate situation shared by many with acne. When we pick at an acne lesion, it turns from an infection to a scar with infection embedded within. Fortunately, there is a laser treatment which will rejuvenate a healthy appearance to your skin – eliminating residual scarring associated with acne – The Aerolase Laser.
Due to the length of time the scar has been present, I highly doubt creams would be effective.

Acne and it’s residual scarring can be treated via multiple routes: (1) ORAL/ ANTIBIOTICS – A less favored method due to the possibility of building up resistance to an antibiotic.
