Reimplated front tooth / constant pain
Reimplanted tooth

My experience with reimplanted teeth is they eventually all fail. Placement of a dental implant is the best way to treat this.
Which is best for All-on-4, acrylic or porcelain?
Best material for All on Four
Oct 7, 2017

The answer is it depends. The zirconia (all porcelain) option is the strongest. The acrylic option is not as strong but often looks better cosmetically. Having an upper and lower zirconia all on four will often produce teeth clicking sounds that patients find annoying.
Then there are biting and wear issues. Zirconia is a better choice when the opposing teeth are natural or crowns especially if grinding is an issue. if an upper and lower all…

Second apicoectomy will save my tooth?

From your enclosed CT it looks like the tooth has a vertical fracture which means it is not salvageable. Extraction and implant would be the best choice here.
Are mini implants as successful as regular Olay?
Mini vs “regular” dental Implants

Sep 21, 2017
Mini Implants are less costly but in no way the same as a traditional dental implant. Mini implants also have a relatively high failure rate. Most people still love their implants year later. In 10 years most mini implants will have failed in that time.
All on 4 implants aftercare?
Gaps in the Healing All on Four?
Sep 21, 2017
Sep 21, 2017
After the initial placement of the healing all on four (teeth), the swelling that occurs after surgery will subside. At this time often some space will be present between the healed gum tissue and All on Four bridge.
Usually we want the bridge to stay in place to help the implants integrate (fully heal). After the 3 month mark we can remove the temporary bridge and add material to it so it once again lightly touches the gum area. This is most often done at the same time we…

I’m 22, would All-on-4 Dental implants be a good idea or should I get braces?
All on 4 vs braces?
Sep 20, 2017
Sep 20, 2017
Without examining you and a good set of X-rays, a complete and accurate diagnosis is impossible I have been performing the all on four procedure for almost 10 years. Unless you have severe decay and/or gum disease at age 22 the all on four would be a terrible choice for you.
If you don’t like the idea of braces clear aligner therapy might be a better option to straighten your teeth. If your teeth are healthy keeping them for life is your best option.

Is it possible to get a one implant (metal screwed in bone) for 2 missing teeth?
One implant /two teeth

Hi Lana
It’s impossible to answer this question without seeing photos and X-rays ,but yes it is sometimes possible to place one implant and restore with two teeth. The quality of the bone and and cosmetic display will help determine if this would be the correct decision.
You implant dentist should be able to show you examples of his/her work where they have done this procedure to help you determine if this is the right option for you.
