Can egg yolk stain teeth
Dec 14, 2020
Egg yolks are not known to stain teeth. You should be fine eating eggs. when you have braces, oral hygiene is extremely important, so make sure you are brushing and flossing regularly, and using a water flosser. This will also help you with potential staining.
I brush, floss and use mouthwash daily. Why do I have these stains and can I get rid them?
stains on teeth
Dec 14, 2020
It’s difficult to see the stains in the photo but generally speaking, your teeth have grooves on the back of them and therefore, it’s easy for stains to accumulate from the foods that you eat and beverages you drink, like coffee and tea. Your hygienist should be able to get rid of most of them.
Can porcelain veneers fix an crooked open bite to make it appear straightened?
Can veneers correct an open bite
Dec 14, 2020
In many cases veneers can correct an open bite and crooked teeth. Based off of your photos I would highly recommend consulting with an orthodontist prior to having any treatment done.
Should I get veneers for my top four front teeth?
veneers don’t have to look fake
Dec 14, 2020
As you are aware, bonding can chip and stain over time. It’s nice because it’s conservative and “reversible” in some cases, however, porcelain veneers can look extremely natural! They usually last longer than composite bonding and they are stronger, and look much more natural thank composite. make sure to find a dentist that is very experience with cosmetic treatment prior to having the work done.
Would you recommend porcelain veneers (if yes how many would I need) or would teeth whitening be en
should you get veneers?
Dec 14, 2020
Just by looking at your photos it seems that veneers would be a personal choice. They will make your teeth look more uniform and can help correct the alignment. You can also change the shape and size of your teeth. Otherwise, if you like the way your teeth are try teeth whitening and see if you’re happy. You can always try the teeth whitening first and see how you like it, then inquire with your dentist about veneers. make sure to do your research and find a dentist that is very experienced…
Tilted premolars and buccal corridor. What are my options to fix this?
Movement of teeth
May 15, 2020
Hi there. Just so you know, teeth are always moving. Unless you wear an appliance at night that will hold them in place such as a retainer or night guard, the daily forces placed upon teeth will cause them to shift constantly.  Based on the information you provided, Invisalign (or even other orthodontic treatments) would be a better option to get the desired alignment that you would like.
I am having gum graft for recession of gums, no periodontal disease. Should I have Invisalign done
invisalign and gum graft
Feb 15, 2020
Typically, you want the teeth to be moved first and then gum grafting can be done. Additionally, for patients that have recession or thin tissue, we recommend the teeth not be moved forward, that instead they are moved backward slightly.  This is something you should definitely discuss with your periodontist and orthodontist prior to any treatment.
