Hello, Is it possible to modify my nasolabial folds?
Nasolabial folds in 19 year old

Sep 23, 2016
People of any age can usually improve the appearance of their nasolabial folds using filler. In general, I usually recommend using a filler like Voluma on the cheek bones as a first step. This provides some lift that can reduce the depth of the nasolabial folds and reduce the amount of filler needed there. This is important because overfilling the nasolabial area does not look natural and should be avoided. Specifics about your individual needs will be recommended by…
Would Botox help my “excessive sweating” ?
Underarm sweating

Botox can be very effective for underarm sweating. Most of my patients see significant reduction in the sweating and are able to stop worrying about wet spots on their clothing. The best part is that the treatments usually last 4 to 6 months.
Good luck treating your condition. Dr. Gill
Are there any treatments for sunken eyes without undergoing surgery?
Sunken eyes

Without an exam or photos, it is difficult to make specific comments but in most cases this problem can be improved. Fillers a very helpful in the eye troughs below the eyes and can greatly reduce the sunken appearance making the eyes look younger and more refreshed. Botox can be used on the brow to lift the eyebrows and smooth the wrinkles further improving that tired look.
Good luck with your treatment. Dr. Gill
I am a 45 year old woman with awful marionette lines. Can a filler be used?
Solution for marionette lines.

A patient with your facial features can be treated successfully with dermal fillers. When the mid face is “plump” or full, Voluma can be used along the lateral cheek lines to lift and improve the shape and proportions of the face. Care must be taken not to add to the fullness of the mid face. In my patients who have deep marionette lines like yours, I also use Voluma along the chin (an off label area for this filler) followed by Juvederm below the mouth corners to…
Alternative to Botox for horizontal forehead creases? Can fillers work?
Droopy after Botox

Sep 16, 2016
The good news is that drooping from Botox fades over time and usually resolves in 2 to 3 months.
In general, Botox is a better treatment for forehead lines and wrinkles than filler. While dermal fillers can be used in that area, the risks are significantly greater than with Botox. When I treat a patient with filler in the forehead area, I normally do it very carefully using a small amount of diluted filler.
I hope this is…
Which filler is best for the lines on either side of the chin? The ones that run below the corners of t
Best filler for mouth corners

Sep 16, 2016
I am currently using a combination of Voluma and Juvederm to fill this area. The corners of the mouth and chin are can be very difficult to correct and can require a lot of filler. I have found that using Voluma around the chin (an off label area for this filler) is giving an excellent and long lasting result. Then Juvederm is great to finish the mouth corners. This combination has reduced the amount of filler needed to get full correction of…
Kybella or Fillers?
Kybella for jawline
Sep 9, 2016
Sep 9, 2016
A definite answer is difficult from a single picture and without an examination. That said, if I were advising a patient with this profile, I would not recommend filler. They would not really enhance the appearance of the jawline and could make it worse. Kybella is used to remove fat below the chin and below the jawline. One of the improvements with Kybella treatments has been some tightening of the jawline even though the injections are not placed directly into that…
