Do I need an extended tummy tuck or standard?
Tummy Tuck

You appear to be a standard Abdominoplasty candidate. You may or may not want to have liposuction added with your abdominoplasty. In my clinic, any elective surgical patient needs to be at a BMI (a calculation based on your height and weight) of 32 or less for safe surgery.
Am I a candidate for a breast lift or just breast augmentation?

Hello, you are a good candidate for breast augmentation alone. Your nipple areolar complexes are close to the maximally projecting point on the breast. You have a little more sagging/ptosis on the right side, but augmentation alone will be great if you are wanting more volume and upper pole fullness.
I’ve been advised to have a breast lift, but I don’t want one. If I don’t get a lift what will my re
Can I avoid a lift?

Thank you for providing photos. You do indeed need a lift. You hesitations about a lift are common, but it is a very high satisfactory procedure. Please visit my website and see our compilation of before and after photos of mastopexy or breast lift.

The most important part of the decision making process when considering breast augmentation is feeling in control of the size being placed and feeling confident that it is the appropriate size for you. I encourage all of my patients to take their time trying on sizers in my office until they find the volume they they believe will help them achieve their goals. From there, breast measurements and anatomy is taken into consideration to assure appropriate and safe fit of the implant. After…
I’m unsure what to do about breast reduction vs weight?
Breast Reduction or Weight loss
Sep 27, 2021
Great question. This is a very personal choice. In order to have elective surgery, a BMI of 32 or less is mandatory in my office. Your current BMI is 37. Weighing around 200 lbs will put you at a BMI of 32 for safe surgery. Some weight loss for safe surgery is in your future. Other than that, we always recommend you being at your goal weight before surgery and remain stable there for at least 6 months.
