Is Geneveve helpful for urinary incontenece?
Geneveve for Urinary Incontinence!
Aug 14, 2018
Yes, it absolutely is! I would also argue that it is significantly more safe than oral medications, as it’s er-building your own collagen. For many women the results last 1-2 years and beyond, and (the best part) it is a very comfortable treatment. As a mom, I have had the procedure done myself, and as a physician I’ve treated many women with the Geneveve. Across the board we are all pleased!
Hard lump after Botox.
Bruising after Botox
Aug 14, 2018
While injectors are careful to minimize the chance of a bruise, they can still happen and this sounds very much like a bruise. Topical Arnica gel can be quite helpful, and this should resolve in the next week or 2. If possible, avoid having injections done during your menstrual cycle, avoid alcohol and blood thinners (like fish oil) in the days prior to your appointment. Best of luck!
Best option for stress incontinence. Would Geneveve Treatment/Viveve work for me?
Candidate for Geneveve
Aug 14, 2018
Yes, it sounds as though you would be a great candidate for the Geneveve treatment. As we age we lose integrity in the vaginal area (even if we’ve never had children). Geneveve restores that integrity, and allows you to live without worrying about incontinence. It’s safe, comfortable, and quite effective.
Botox. Tingling sensation and a weird smile
Unusual reaction to Botox
Aug 14, 2018
This kind of reaction to Botox in the forehead/brows is very unusual. I recommend speaking with your injector, and pursuing other possible causes with your family physician.
If I’m actively suffering on/off sinus issues like drainage is it still safe to get Botox treatmen
Sinus congestion and Botox
Aug 14, 2018
Yes! Botox is absolutely safe, even while congested/draining with allergies. Enjoy the beautiful results, and hope you find some relief.
Microneedling with PRP safe for people with rosacea? Is vitamin C added to the skin during the pro
Microneedling with PRP
Aug 14, 2018
Yes, this is safe for patients with rosacea, especially with the added PRP. Many of our patients find their rosacea improves with the combo of the two. A vitamin C serum may be too irritating immediately post-treatment, but in the days following it would be fine. More often, the microneedling is combined with Hyaluronic Acid for optimal hydration while the skin is healing/building collagen.
