When it comes to orthodontic retention and which retainer is best, it is all based upon personal preference. There are removable retainers that you can take out when you eat and braces, but you do have to wear them!! And the bonded retainers are great as well, but you do have to watch what you eat nothing too hard that can crack it and you do have to have be great with keeping the area clean of bacteria with good flossing and brushing!
