If it is truly cystic pustules, then you must wait until they have been treated and are healed. But if it is folliculitis, which is inflammation of the hair follicle, it can be treated while still active. It is safe to use regular lotion on day 2 if you do not have any skin irritation from the laser hair removal. If you do have some irritation, you should wait until it subsides then continue with your normal skin care routine.
