Thank you for your question. While it is recommended to remove and replace your saline implants every 10-15 years, there is no medical reason to do it urgently if you have no issues with your breasts. The risks of leakage and deflation do increase significantly after ten years. It will be very obvious if this happens and you should have them replaced as soon as possible to avoid the need for more surgery, since the implant pocket will shrink and can scar closed without the implant keeping it...

Thank you for your question. It may be that the shooting pain and the nipple sensitivity are unrelated. It's not very common for shooting pain to return and I would recommend an examination with your plastic surgeon to rule out nerve sensitivity versus another process like capsular contracture. Thank you for your question and your photos. With your left breast being larger than the right and the right showing no signs of bruising, I would question if you have a hematoma. I would discuss this with your surgeon again . If your left breast is also firm , I would highly suggest an exploration of possible evacuation of the blood if a hematoma is present, or if things have been stable, you can consider an ultrasound to determine if you have a hematoma versus simple bruising.
