I think you were already starting with a really good breast shape. 200cc to 235 is not a very big implant and I worry that in a high profile it would be a little baseball-ish… I would probably go more towards a moderate profile implant and probably a more cohesive implant to give you the upper pole fullness without going to a bigger implant.

Would a mini tummy tuck work to to get rid of my disproportionate loose skin and tighten my abdomen?

A mini tummy tuck is really for people who are pretty tight above the bellybutton and their belly button still has a natural shape. I think you could benefit much more by a full tummy tuck with muscle repair. Honestly the scar in you will not be that much bigger with a full tummy tuck.

Remember that liposuction is the most imprecise procedure we perform in cosmetic surgery. Certain areas of the body can become wavy after treatment and certain age groups are more prone to that waviness. The number one spot for waviness is probably an inner thigh, and the number two spot is the tummy ...and age group, after 40 years old is much more prone to waviness so… If you wear a bikini or show your tummy in clothes, I would be nervous about just doing liposuction alone.

Thank you for your question and photos and for sure a Lift will be needed… Your implants have a high position which gives that upper pole fullness but your breast tissue needs to be reduced and lifted. Modern lift techniques do not require nipple or areola removal.

Thank you for your question and photo. It appears that you have the classic result of implants sitting too high and not giving the proper balance to the breast. Your nipples and breast do not need to be raised but rather your implants need to be lowered. It will address most of your concerns and even may help your areola look more proportionate!

First of all I think your overall breast shape is very good, Especially after nursing children… From your question I couldn’t tell what bothers you most, the bit of wrinkling of your areola or a small cup size. Certainly a small implant would help fill out the areola but it sounds like implants are not for you. I’m not sure a 360° scar around your areola would be better than a little bit of wrinkling you have. I am inclined to say… You are doing great and don’t need anything!!

Yes it’s very straightforward to change implants out and balance your size but I think overall result is great. If those pictures are all you I think you are doing well. And I am wondering what kind of lift you had because I really don’t see many scars from a traditional lift. But overall if you are unhappy, yes go back to your surgeon and I’m sure they will do all they can to get you where you want to be.

Yes I agree that from your photo it appears you could benefit from a revision of the bottom of the breast that is sitting too low. It is called a capsulorrhaphy and in my opinion , requires an experienced surgeon and a lot of postoperative care in protecting that repair. I have my patients live 24/7 in a Victoria’s Secret knockout bra for six weeks and avoid any bouncing or stretching or smashing. Pick a time when you can reduce your activities… But I think it would be worth it in your case !!!

I’m not sure we know what you mean by crunchy to the touch… Even calcified capsules I have never had patients describe as crunchy… Firm and hard yes, painful yes, crunchy no… In surgery I have seen the inside of the caps will be crunchy but not sure what you mean however yes implants can be deflated in the office if sailing and is fairly painless. Complete above the muscle capsulectomy and implant exchange can certainly be done in one operation however… Be prepared that they will be extremely soft and probably a bit lower than you are right now. The capsule helps keep them in position and when that is completely removed it will be a bit more loose and probably lower than you are used to now.

It’s certainly a challenge when the nipples end up too high on the breast even to the point of popping out of a bra or swimsuit… But in many cases it’s because that crease underneath the breast where the bra sits is actually too low. Thank you for the photo and what you are describing does not sound like animation deformity. It just sounds and looks like one breast sits slightly higher and feels slightly tighter. I think you are in the perfectly normal range and have a great result! Animation deformity is the flatness you see at the bottom of your breasts when you contract your pectoralis muscles. That is very normal for women with implants under the muscle.

First of all I think your implants are sitting in a good position in the upper pole... And your size looks very reasonable…Like other doctors have said, I can’t tell if that area of fullness underneath your right breast is just local fat deposits, like some women have or is your actual implant. A local fat deposit would be treatable with a little bit of liposuction. If it’s your implant, that requires capsulorrhaphy.I think also a very good donut pexy would help. But I am not convin...
