Ruptured or displaced and painful 2.5year old silicone implant, where do I stan
You need a scan
Jun 5, 2018
Thank you for your question. The only way to be sure your implant is ruptured would be a MRI scan – clinical examination can be very difficult.
Depending on the arrangement with your first surgeon, you may be able to get this with them.
I would start there and move forward based on evidence, personally.

Good luck!

UK surgeon willing to work with larger implants?
Your decision
Jun 5, 2018
Deciding to have big implants is not a problem but the ability to put them in will depend on your natural size, shape, etc. If you are a 32A now, it is unlikely you will get a very big implant inside without the risk of the wound coming apart.
You should also consider the look you are trying to achieve – big implants can look very obvious – which is fine if that’s what you want.
Good luck!

I have ITP (immune thrombocytopenia, an auto immune disease). Can I get cosmeti
Ya

Yes but be aware you may get more bruising than another patient. Your doctor will be able to advise further.
Good luck!

I had severe eyelid and brow droop after my first time ever having botox! What
It will just take time
Feb 1, 2018
Regrettably, Botox wears off at its own pace. Most people notice it wearing off after 3 months but in my practice, 6 months is not uncommon. I assume you were warned of this, and the risks of droops etc before the treatment.
The eyelid droop can be managed with Iopidine(TM) (Apraclonidine is the drug name) eye drops, which correct it. The eyedrops come with potential side effects including glaucoma and so should really be managed by a doctor, and you may need your eye pressures…
I had breast augmentation 5 months ago and I’ve been experiencing problems. Sho
Yes

It may cost you, but a second opinion from a reputable surgeon might be useful. They can tell you whether your breasts are doing well at this stage or not. Remember, though – all breasts are asymmetrical to some extent – it just depends how closely you look. Whether yours fit into the ‘normal range’ is probably best assessed but board-certified surgeon.
Good luck

Breast augmentation before our family is complete. Yay or nay?
I would wait
Jul 13, 2017
If you fall pregnant after breast implants, you may find that as your breasts change in pregnancy and then shrink once you have stopped feeding your child, that they change shape completely. It may be that the initial result from a breast augmentation is, to some extent, lost as your breasts return to normal.
As such, you might consider waiting until after you have finished your family, so that you get a more predictable result from a single operation, rather than having to…
I have trigeminal neuralgia. I want to get Botox but wonder if it’s safe?
Might trigger the neuralgia
Jul 13, 2017
Thank you for your question.
Any trauma to your face can start off the neuralgia (as you probably know) and so can a series of injections. The treatment itself will not be affected by your condition – it should still work as normal – but you might find you get an exacerbation of your neuralgia.
Depending on how badly you suffer, it may or may not be worth the benefit. I have declined to treat patients with bad neuralgia and have never regretted doing so. I have, however, successfully treated…
