Liposuction was originally developed for saddlebags, and many authorities feel the fat is different than other locations and thus resistant to weight loss. Contrary to belief, liposuction is not for weight loss but for bulges.

Since you mentioned you are 45, ask your doctor about fat grafting. The fat could be used instead of filler for facial improvement, if desired.

I use 4 different fillers in the temples, and of course, fat grafting too. Voluma, RHA #4 , Radiesse and Sculptra all have different advantages and disadvantages. The RHA#4 and Radiesse are diluted for injection into multiple layers. The Voluma is lower and the Sculptra is a roller coaster with the product taking awhile to give the effect.
