Hi, This is a hard question to answer without your pre-op pictures but I can see a great lower abdominal scar this is very symmetrical, I can see a great umbilical scar that is hard to see in your pictures. The appearance when you suck in your tummy suggests that the skin and muscle have been contoured well. The other 2 pictures show that your abdominal contents are pushing out a bit if your tummy muscle is relaxed. Abdominal muscle tone will be part of that appearance I think.

You don’t say how long ago the surgery was done but if it was some months or years ago, one would expect pain related to the surgery to be settled by now. I could be directly related to the suture knot but you say you have been told this is not the case. It could be to do with the direction of pull of the suture or scar related to it. It is hard to imagine but hard to exclude without seeing you. You should continue to pursue this with your nearest ophthalmologist or plastic surgeon.

After the surgery you will have dressings that need to be left for a couple of weeks usually. They are often absorbent to collect any discharge from the wounds. These are usually left for two weeks and then removed in clinic. After that the healing wounds benefit from regular irrigation with water and a shower is excellent for that as bacteria are flushed away.

I’m sorry you don’t like your blepharoplasty result. The scars look good if perhaps a little high. I couldn’t see asymmetry that you mention when I looked at your preop picture. Your eyes look fairly symmetrical but your left brow is slightly lower than the right. You are frowning in some of your pictures. This and the brow asymmetry could be improved with Botox. This is temporary fix but can be a useful way to improve things simply and cheaply to see if it gives the appearance you wish….

I’m sorry to have had some. Trouble with the scars from your surgery. The surgery result looks excellent overall but I can see what you mean scars. It can be very difficult to get the scars exactly in the crease and they can move over time as the weight of the implants pulls on the skin. I’m sorry your don’t like your scars. You don’t show any pictures so I’m not sure how bad they are. When there is single scar or a couple they can be changed but when there are multiple, they are very hard to disguise. One can remove them and skin graft the wound which looks bad but has a different look. One can shave them and then graft the skin back in a different orientation which can improve them.
