Please do not be embarrassed to ask your surgeon this. You will need to know ahead of the procedure if it will be at an extra cost or not. I would advise looking over your original paperwork again including your financial quotation and seeing exactly what was included in your price. If it is still not clear, please call your surgeon's office and ask them.

Thank you for your question. The answer really depends on how extensive the scarring is and how is affects your facial tissues in the long term. While internal scarring can make a facelift more difficult, it is not always impossible. i would recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person assessment when you are thinking about having a facelift. They will be able to assess and exam you and give you a better answer at that stage.

Dear Ms Mann,
There are many different types of facelift but in a standard facelift, both your skin and the underlying support layer (SMAS in the face, platysma muscle in the neck) are lifted and repositioned. The underlying SMAS and platyma may be trimmed, tightened or overlapped during the lift and excess skin is also removed. Most facelifts are variations of this and treat both of these layers - skin and SMAS/platyma.

Thanks for posting your question and photographs. What you must bear in mind is that a mini facelift generally gets mini results and an necklift does not get the same results as a face and necklift. If you are considering getting a mini facelift and a separate necklift, you are probably better off having a full or proper face and necklift that fully addresses your concerns in one surgery rather than a piecemeal approach with two separate smaller procedures. Thank you for posting your question. Sometimes it is possible to correct tuberous breasts without implants but I cannot say if this is feasible in your case or not. Usually the areola is reduced and sometimes repositioned in tuberous breast corrective surgery but again I cannot say if this would be the case for you.
