Hematoma after breast implant – when will it be safe to have my implant put back in?

Thanks for the question. Bleeding and haematoma is an uncommon but well recognised risk after breast implant surgery. Usually it happens within the first 24 hours but can be delayed.
It is very unusual to have a haematoma 5-6 weeks post op. Was the affected breast more swollen and if so for how long? Thanks for the question. A clitoral hood reduction WILL NOT affect the clitoris itself. You will appreciate that no surgeon will cut into the clitoris itself. If anything a clitoral hood reduction may expose the clitoris and make it look more obvious.

Hi and thanks for the question.
PCOS can cause clitoral enlargement as can other hormonal imbalances (but your endocrinologist has tested for these). It is also reassuring that your gynaecologist feels your clitoris is within the normal range.
Clitoral hood reduction will reduce the skin (hood) around the clitoris but it WILL NOT reduce the clitoris itself. I would follow the advice of your gynaecologist as they are best placed to advise on this issue and not plastic/ cosmetic surgeons.

Hi, you have a very nice and natural result which is what you wanted! The wish pics you show are of patients with much larger breasts.
It should be possible to create more of a crease with larger implants but then you run the risk of not looking natural!

Hi jaycee2022,
Allergan implants only have a lifetime warranty for rupture. If implants are ruptured before 10 years they will pay £3000 plus the cost of the replacement implants (not the surgical or hospital fees). After 10 years they will only cover the cost of the implants themselves (not surgical or hospital fees).

Depending on how much lipo you want/ number of areas, there is no reason why you cannot have both done at the same time. Patients have breast surgery with a full tummy tuck so breast augmentation with lipo is not a major undertaking.
Speak to your surgeon about the logistics. There are pros and cons but having combined surgery is usually cheaper and you only have one lot of downtime.

Thanks for the photos. It is very hard to comment without standardised images and before images. We don’t know what size implants you have and where they were placed. At 7 months the implants should have settled into whatever position they were due to settle in.
You should speak to your surgeon about your concerns as they are best placed to advise you.
