Name: William J. Vinyard, MD, FACS

Statement: Dr. William J. Vinyard is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery in Port Saint Lucie, South Florida. At his state-of-the-art facility, Dr. Vinyard offers cosmetic plastic surgery of the face and body as well as nonsurgical skin rejuvenation and body contouring.

Dr. Vinyard graduated with honors from the University of Kansas and earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Kansas Hospital, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Vinyard was then accepted into the highly competitive plastic surgery residency at the University of California, Davis, again serving as chief resident. There, he narrowed his professional interest to aesthetic plastic surgery.

He went on to a fellowship in advanced breast and aesthetic surgery in Birmingham, Alabama, training under the esteemed plastic surgeon Dr. James Grotting. Dr. Vinyard is one of few surgeons to complete four full surgical training programs, a testament to his drive and desire for an extensive education before opening his own practice.

Dr. Vinyard is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Biography: As the office manager of the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery, Gina Vinyard takes great pride in creating an office environment that our staff and patients enjoy coming to here in Port Saint Lucie, FL. She is responsible for overseeing the operations to ensure that each and every VIPS staff member has everything they need in order to meet and exceed our patients' expectations. Gina is smart, beautiful and kind. Our patients and staff find her easy to speak to and a great listener. She has helped to create the VIPS Family environment. Gina is always mindful of our patient’s time and the medical quality that goes into their level of care. Gina is responsible for maintaining the high standard of care in our office and uses her multitasking skills to keep the flow of VIPS running smoothly on a regular basis.

Biography: Mary Louise Mattas is our Surgical Nurse Practitioner and has been assisting Dr. Vinyard in surgery since 2014. Together, they have helped hundreds of patients achieve their desired results. She is incredibly talented and is familiar with every detail of Dr. Vinyard’s signature procedures. Her prior experience as a surgical first assistant and director of a major hospital operating room brings extensive knowledge to the operating team and increases their efficiency. Mary Louise orchestrates Dr. Vinyard’s operative team which allows him to keep his focus on the surgical details necessary for him to achieve his signature results.

Biography: Savannah is the Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Laser Technician and CoolSculpting Elite Specialist at Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery. Savannah has been a Florida resident since 2015 and enjoys building relationships with her patients by listening to their concerns and goals so they can work together to reach their desired results. She values continuing education and takes pride in staying up-to-date with all the new aesthetic research and practices. Savannah specializes in medical grade skincare and spends much of her free time researching ingredients in products and how they affect different skin types.

Biography: Elizabeth Beier is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant licensed in the state of Florida. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from The University of South Florida obtained her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University. Some of her favorite procedures to perform are neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Morpheus radiofrequency microneedling, and CO2 resurfacing. She feels as though the best aspect of her job is having the capability to offer multiple modalities to assist her patients in achieving their personal overall goals. Elizabeth is a firm believer that education in the medical field never stops, and she continues to learn and grow with her patients in mind. She is passionate about helping others feel their absolute best inside and out.
