Is there any way to fix my crooked front tooth without braces or Invisalign?
Conservative treatment is best
Jun 23, 2015
Hi! As suggested by others, you may be able to correct the crooked front tooth quickly with veneer(s) but this treatment requires removal of tooth structure which is irreversible and thus more aggressive than orthodontia (Invisalign) which would move your existing tooth into the right position without requiring any drilling. Good luck!
Would I be a good candidate for “instant orthodontics” using porcelain crowns and veneers?
Multiple Disciplinary Approach
Jun 22, 2015
Hi! Pictures are a good starting point for evaluating what method is best for you to undergo a smile makeover. Additional pieces to help with working up a cosmetic treatment plan would be molds and a diagnostic waxup. The diagnostic information these procedures provide will help you best determine if you would benefit from having some orthodontic treatment prior to restorative (ie. Veneers) work. This is because you may benefit from aligning the teeth in a better position before the…
Can you change a permanent gold crown white ? How much would it cost ?
Newer materials options
Jun 22, 2015
Gold crowns generally have excellent fit and longterm service, but are not very aesthetic. Newer materials now available for crowns are all ceramic, white and highly aesthetic. In order to have your crown made to look like a tooth, the good crown would need to be removed and replaced with an all ceramic crown. The cost for this treatment generly varies depending on the location of your dentist and his/her skill level.
Question about Veneers and other options!
Treatment Options depend on your diagnosis
Jun 22, 2015
Hi! In order to determine the treatment options available to you, a proper diagnosis of your dental condition is needed. This is accomplished by visiting a dentist and having a comprehensive exam with X-rays and possible models. Once all of the information is analyzed and your diagnosis determined, various customized options to treat your condition should be presented to you. Good luck!
What can I get instead of the flipper because I don’t want to have to take it out ?
You may have better options!
Jun 4, 2015
Hi! So depending on your particular set of circumstances, you may have other temporary options available to you. With more information about your case, I could give you a better answer. But just some ideas, you could ask to see if your a candidate for an Essex appliance, but keep in mind while it fits better than a flipper it still comes in and out. An even better option may be a CADpro Temp, designed to temporarily bond to adjacent teeth (if you have any present), which won’t come in and…

Different solutions depending on the cause
Jun 2, 2015
Hi! As mentioned in the previous post, veneers shouldn’t just fall off and if they do, the reason for the failure needs to be determined in order to know how to proceed with fixing the situation. It could be that improper bonding technique was used (too much moisture, failure to properly prepare/silanate the unit), and in such a case you may be able to recement the same veneer. It could also be that the tooth has more dentin exposed which affects bonding, which may mean that tooth may be…

Post-operative care
Jun 2, 2015
It sounds as if the flipper you are wearing for cosmetic purposes is traumatizing the supporting gum tissue. I would recommend returning to your dentist to have the site evaluated and relieve the flipper if it is in fact applying to much pressure to the implant site. If this is he case and it is left untreated, it could adversely affect the healing of the implant. You could also inquire about other temporary options like an Essex appliance which tend to be more comfortable to wear while the…
