This is a 48 year old female who disliked the fact that she was developing sagging skin in her neck and jowl area. She thought that she appeared to have prematurely aged. She also said that she felt younger than her appearance portrayed. She desired facial rejuvenation in order to give her a refreshed appearance...without changing the way she looked. She said that she wanted to look like she felt....younger! After a lengthy discussion we decided to perform a Rejuvelift which is Dr. Cutolo's trademarked "in office" procedure to elevate the jowls, tighten the neck and reduce the excess skin. Since aging is also associated with volume loss, we decided to perform a "fat transfer" procedure at the same time. Fat was removed from her belly, spun in a centrifuge in order to remove the oils, and then reinjected into her cheeks, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. This replenished the volume that was lost with aging. Her recovery was quicker than would be for more traditional procedures and she returned to her normal activities within two weeks. She is seen here approximately two months after the procedure.
