It appears that these teeth are healthy and that you had missing lateral incisors and the space was closed. This placed the cuspids in the place of lateral incisors which are smaller and thinner and also not pointed on the tips. Treatment seems to be optional for you. Does this appearance bother you? If not, then nothing has to be done. If yes, several options:1) Do nothing2) Veneer or bond the cuspids to create a flatter and more square edge. However, better results will be obtain…

Very good questions. What do you have in place now? There are several ways to complete cases like you have mentioned. The answer is dependent on the quality of your bone, the length of the implants that can be placed as well as how far apart the implants are placed for bridges. Careful planning with a 3D scan and surgical guide from the 3D scan can ensure the implants are placed where they can be restored. It is important to begin with the end in mind. Screw retained versus cemen…
Can veneers still fix my lower teeth?
Using Veneers to straighten crooked teeth

To better answer your question, it is really necessary to see the way the upper and lower front teeth meet together. We can often do veneers to help with these complex crowding cases. It may not be perfect but will be an improvement. Something to know, is these lower teeth will continue to shift slowly through the years and this can cause the uppers to follow suit. Invisalign might also be an option to expand the upper and lower arches and straighten them.

Before beginning any treatment, try to see the underlying cause of the reason your teeth are canted and shifted to the left. Any TMJ issues or jaw pain? Neck Pain? Mouthbreathing? Aberrant swallow pattern? There is a reason your teeth have shifted to where they are, findout why and correct the issue in conjunction with either treatment you select, veneers or ortho.

Hard to see in the photo, however, it sounds as if you may have a small gap between the veneer and your tooth. Your dentist can try to polish this or even seal it if there is a gap. I hope this helps.

Reshaping or recontouring your teeth should help as long as it does not interfere with your bite. Make sure no anesthesia is used as you do not want to have sensitive teeth afterwards. This needs to be done conservatively.
