This brilliant little guy came in with his mum and dad to tell me he was getting some unwanted attention at school as a result of his ears, and explained he'd be much happier if they didn't stick out so much. The four of us talked through all the options and agreed that a prominent ear correction was the right thing to do. After surgery, his mum told me that he hadn't complained of pain even once, and he explained that he now feels happy when he sees his reflection in the mirror and really enjoys going to school. It's made a huge difference physically, but hearing how it has changed his day to day life even brought a happy tear to a hardened Plastic Surgeon!
