Dr. Hodge then attended the Connecticut Combined Hand Surgery Service for his hand surgery training before completing his plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Working as a floor nurse at Lindsborg Community Hospital, she realized her true calling and passion was in aesthetics and has since been working as an injector for over five years. In addition to her years of experience, Kirsten was also a regional preceptor for a national aesthetics practice and has provided much support and further training for other injectors and aestheticians.

Biography: Ashley Williams, RN, BSN, joined the Monarch Plastic Surgery team in 2018 as an Aesthetic Nurse Injection Specialist. After graduating in 2007 with a nursing degree, she started her nursing career in the operating room at KU Medical Center. In 2010, she began working at a Plastic Surgeon’s office, where her eyes were opened to the world of Aesthetic Nursing. Knowing in her heart that this was what she was meant to do, she transitioned into a job that trained her in various Aesthetic services, including the art of cosmetic injectables. Her extensive education and personalized care provides patients with beautiful and natural results. Ashley is licensed in Kansas and Missouri and works at both of our Leawood and North Kansas City locations.

Biography: Erika Wetherill originally joined Monarch Skin Rejuvenation Center in 2004. Then, after starting a family in 2007, she relocated. Since returning to the Kansas City area, Erika has rejoined the Monarch team. Erika is a 2001 graduate of the University of North Texas. After receiving her first facial in 2003, she decided to pursue a career in aesthetics and began her career right here in Kansas City at a salon and spa. Erika is licensed in Kansas and Missouri and works at the Leawood and North Kansas City locations.

Erika strives to continually educate herself so she can pass that knowledge along to her clients. She listens to her clients and then develops customized skin care regimes and treatment plans. Erika is dedicated to her career, a perfectionist in her work and truly loves what she does. Breck graduated from Johnson County Community College where she completed the Esthetics Program, and graduated at the top of her class. After graduating, she started her career at a dermatology office. During this time, she expanded her knowledge in the medical industry, before finding her home at Monarch. She prides herself on staying up to date and continuing her education on the latest in lasers, medical devices, and pharmaceutical products.

Breck feels at home in an aesthetics practice, as she grew up with both of her parents owning business’ in the salon and spa world. She has felt passionate about aesthetics since she was a little girl, but knew she wanted to take her work to the next level in a medical office to deliver better results.

Biography: Brittan Ward joined the team at Monarch Skin Rejuvenation Center in 2022. Brittan is a licensed aesthetician in Kansas and Missouri and works at our Leawood and Kansas City locations. She is a certified laser tech and a 2019 graduate from Ogle Esthetics School in Dallas, TX. After graduating, she worked at a medical spa in Texas before moving to Kansas City and finding her home at Monarch.
