Do I have gynecomastia or any signs?
Do I Have Gynecomastia.
Oct 30, 2023
From your photos, you do not appear to have gynecomastia. You do not have feminine volume of the breasts or puffiness behind the nipples.
I'm looking to get gynecomastia surgery. Local or general anaesthetic?
Gynecomastia Anesthesia
Oct 30, 2023
Each particular doctor may have an anesthesia preference to treat gynecomastia. It can be done with either general or local/sedation. I prefer local/sedation and patients tolerate it extremely well. It reduces cost and there is usually less post-op fogginess, nausea and sore throat.
Tummy tuck incision - what to expect?
What to expect in a tummy tuck incision.
Oct 30, 2023
From you photo, you do not need an extended tummy tuck. The incision should go just across your lower abdomen. It should take out and be a little longer than your C-section scar. You could also consider a mini-tummy tuck. The incision would be a little smaller and probably a littler lower. To treat the skin above the belly button, if you did a mini-TT you would need to "float" the belly button which would put it in a slightly lower position.
Gynecomastia Surgery under twilight or local anaesthetic - possible?
Gynecomastia surgery under local or twilight anesthesia
Jan 30, 2023
Thank you for your question. Not only is this possible, this is how I routinely perform my gynecomastia surgeries. I generally use a little bit of sedation to make the numbing of the chest less painful and then let the tumescent solution sit before performing liposuction and gland excision. If you call around, you should hopefully be able to find a surgeon near you who performs the procedure similarly. All the best,
Incision for liposuction on gyno surgery?
Liposuciton entry point
Jan 30, 2023
Thank you for your question. In my opinion, scars should be as inconspicuous as possible. I generally try to place my lipo access scars in the armpits, but this is best discussed with your surgeon in advance. All the best,
